2006 SINGLE EVENT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS held in BENDIGO, AUSTRALIA
OCTOBER 20, 21 & 22nd
John Clow was the meet director with the help of Austin Morrison and Scotty York. They did an EXCELLENT JOB in hosting this event.
The venue was decorated to the max with large flags representing each WDFPF member nation;
all of the workers (spotters/loaders, scoring table help, announcer, timer, expeditor etc). were dressed in black slacks with green Polo Shirts which were marked with the Australian Drug-Free Powerlifting Association’s logo on the front and on the back of the shirts.
In HUGE BOLD BLACK lettering was: DRUG-FREE!
This was an incredibly well run and well organized event with alert and attentive spotters/loaders and other meet helpers.
